Historic Machiya Accommodation
Nijojo Taiken Inn is a 100-year-old traditional machiya wooden townhouse, originally used for Nishijin-ori weaving. Guest rooms are located in separate buildings. The triple room spans 2 storeys with a living area on the ground floor and a bedroom on the second floor featuring France Bed mattresses. Rooms include an electric kettle, safety box, free toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, microwave, and free WiFi. A private toilet and shower booth are provided outside the guest room. A kotatsu leg warming table and sofa are in the living area. Futon bedding is available for additional guests when booked accordingly.

The property offers a garden, laundry facilities with a washing machine and dryer, and a shared kitchen. Four bicycles are available for hire on a first-come-first-served basis. Luggage storage is offered before check-in if arranged in advance. A television is located in the common area.
Central Kyoto Location
Located in Kamigyo Ward, Central Kyoto, the inn is a 10-minute walk from Nijojo-mae Station. It is 1 km from Kyoto Imperial Palace, 2 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, and 3 km from Kinkaku-ji and Nishiki Market.
